A poster created for the BYU–Idaho's Art Club: The Artery
The copy reads, "The Artery presents a demonstration on photography by Daniel George." So as I was sketching out ideas I remembered how I once heard a photographer referred to as a cyclops. So I illustrated Polyphemus from Homer's Odyssey, with a camera as his one eye. ???? Well, it was fun to make anyway.
Another great class taught by the incomparable Scott Franson, Digital Illustration proved to be one of my most influential classes. Many of the pieces shown here are really kind of silly, but I had fun doing them.
A series of three book covers for Dante's Inferno. With all the commentary and reference material, the book became heavy and somewhat daunting. By separating them into three books it made each section approachable and easier to read.
